First Year students will need to get the books listed, they will be able to buy them on their first day at Colaiste Lorcain. Books for the optional subjects such as Home Economics, Technology , Music etc., will be sold next January when the sampling period has finished and students have made their choices.

Second Year students need to get a number of books, but should hold on to their first year books as well as they will be using them for a while. The only books that need to be returned are the English Textbook "Dive In" and the SPHE book "Minding Me 1". The return of these books will be organised when students return to school at the end of August.

Third year students only require three additional books: Essentials Unfolded Science (Celtic Press) which costs €6.50, Minding Me 3 which costs €7.50 on the rental scheme and either "Romeo and Juliet" HL or "the Field" OL for English.

Transition Year students do not need to buy any books, as we have a rental scheme for all of their requirements. The cost of this scheme is €50 and includes the cost of their Student Journal.
