As part of its work, the Department of Education Inspectorate carries out inspections in schools. In recent years, the focus of those inspections has been on the quality of teaching and learning. As well as affirming good practice, these reports sometimes makes recommendations for the school - leadership and / or teachers - to implement as a means of improving the learner experiences and outcomes.
